Meet Kathy

I am a graduate of the University of Delaware with a BSN in Nursing. I moved to Northern VA when I graduated. I worked with the Fairfax County Health Dept for 5 years and then pursued a career in real estate, which is my true love. I spent my childhood and teen years in Texas as my father was a Dupont engineer. I have always enjoyed ice skating, walking daily, and shopping. I love dogs and I have had a dog most of my life until now as my Golden passed away a year ago, and I still miss him. My husband is a real estate appraiser, and my 2 children are married, my daughter and son-in-law live in Great Falls with a spoiled German Shepherd and my son lives in NYC with his wife. I have a granddaughter, who is 3 years old and another granddaughter due in December.

My past real estate experience includes working as a NVAR member in Great Falls, Fairfax as an assistant manager to a large office, and as a recruiter for the state of VA under the RVP of Weichert. I have been a managing broker for KWR in Great Falls for 3 years, and my true passion is helping people sell their homes or buy a new home. I have new home experience as I worked with a builder in Occoquan for 5 years. I have experience selling new homes so when you look at new homes, please take me with you so I can represent you every step of the way. Remember a builder represents their best interests, not yours.

I have worked with NV Homes as well as Toll Brothers in the luxury market. My passion is working with buyers and sellers whether they are downsizing for retirement or moving up to their next home or dream home and I make it a memorable fun experience. I have wonderful negotiation skills and my list price to sales price exceeds 100%. I am a pleasure to work with and you can see my references under Weichert or Zillow. I have worked in relocation with many of the employees from Exxon Mobil and other large companies relocating. I am a certified Relocation Specialist with Weichert.
